Post-Graduate Review Course in Basic and Translational Neurosciences.
The site includes videotaped lectures by distinguished faculty from the departments of Neurology, Neurological Surgery, Psychiatry, Radiology, Pathology and Cell Biology, Neuroscience, Pharmacology, Physiology and Cellular Biophysics.
The lectures cover areas ranging from neuroregeneration, neurorepair and plasticity, cognition and behavior, mood and motivation and the integration of bodily functions through the autonomic nervous system. The lectures discuss how we regulate heart rate, appetite, obesity and other aspects of metabolic and unconscious function.
The course, initially intended for Columbia’s own faculty, students, residents, and nurses has had attendance by many participants from surrounding academic medical Centers and has been made available to the public at large through the generous support of Lundbeck.
We invite you to take advantage of this resource which showcases the strength of the Neurosciences at Columbia.
