Several faculty members in the department participate in the Columbia College advanced undergraduate course, Developmental and Systems Neuroscience (W4005).

Numerous summer research opportunities for undergraduate students are provided in various labs in the department. Columbia undergraduates may apply for such positions via the Columbia SURF Program. Students from other colleges may apply to the Amgen Scholars Program, the SPURS Program for under-represented students from local colleges, the Summer Research Program, or by emailing directly to faculty members whose research programs interest them.
